Recent illustration for Los Angeles Magazine’s March issue. Art direction by Joe Kimberling. This image was one of five spot illustrations we did for the article, “The 64 Greatest Things about LA.” Disneyland’s right up there.
While working on this project– well, this image particularly– we fell prey to nostalgia and found ourselves listening to Musical Highlights from the Mickey Mouse Club TV Show. Those crazy Mouseketeers cover all sorts of odd and arcane topics. It’s hummable too.
