Gluekit Art Car for Scion iQ

Just got in some amazing images of our art car for Scion! Last week we were in New York for the 10th Anniversary celebration of Scion’s commitment to music, art, and design, which included an exhibition of all the Scion iQ art cars. It was amazing to see our car in real life– and we loved seeing what the other artists (including David Choe, Cody Hudson, French, Dust La Rock, and the Melvins) did with theirs. Super fab to see old friends and meet some new ones as well.
We’re so grateful to Scion for giving us the opportunity to do a car like this! The Scion iQ looks like a little gem.

Gluekit Sketchel

Jeremyville’s Sketchel project has launched a second series of one-off (supremely limited edition) messenger bags. Graphic makers from around the world have contributed to the project, creating a rainbow of messenger bags for every taste and outfit. There are still a few Gluekit sketchels available from Series One, including the peachy one above. Britney, tigers, and computer iconography? Yes indeed! Click here for Gluekit’s contributions, filed under “Christopher Sleboda” and get your very own special edition bag.
Over and Over and Over

We were super honored to find out last week that we were included in Mike Perry’s most recent book on hand-drawn pattern-making, Over and Over (Princeton Architectural Press, 2008). When we saw the pre-publication announcements, we put the new book on our wish list, but lo and behold, we’re actually in it! We couldn’t be more thrilled. Like MP’s last book, Hand Job: A Catalog of Type, this one is chock full of inspiration, insight, and awesomeness from cover to cover.
